About Us
H&M, the iconic Swedish brand, made its debut in the Middle East in 2006, launching its initial store in the UAE at Mall of the Emirates, and later expanding to Kuwait at The Marina Mall in September 2006. Since its introduction to the region by its Middle Eastern partner Alshaya Group, H&M has rapidly and assuredly grown into 11 markets – inaugurating its 100th store at Cairo Festival City in 2014, debuting online in 2018, and launching the largest H&M store globally in 2019, at The Avenues in Kuwait. H&M has experienced a string of amazing partnerships with guest designers in recent years, pleasing its customers with some of the world's most beloved brands, such as Versace, Balmain (which sold out on launch day), Kenzo, Moschino, and others. Pioneering sustainability in fashion, H&M has just introduced its most eco-friendly women's spring collection to date, crafted from over 65% recycled, organic, and sustainably sourced materials. Shoppers can likewise recycle at H&M by placing their unwanted garments and textiles into H&M collection boxes, which are found in certain stores.
